Can new pianos be installed with a player system?

Yes, all Feurich and Hailun pianos may be ordered with an automated player piano system installed. This system utilities solenoids to control the piano action.

How does the pianola system work?

The pianola player piano utilize suction as the main driving force, that control a  pneumatic system. Our kit installs a suction pump to replace the bellows, a MIDI control unit, and other hardware to achieve full MIDI control, including the sustain pedal system. It also installs a quality sound system for complete sounding backing tracks.

Are there benefits in owning a MIDI converted pianola player piano?

The pianola has several benefits.

• It is a much cheaper option to own a quality player piano.
• Most pianola piano instruments are great instruments and are some of the best quality acoustic pianos with longer bass strings for richer harmonics and longer keys for a balanced touch.
• You will own part of history.
• These act as normal piano and can be used for music exam practice up to diploma level.
• All the MIDI kit and accessories are installed and hidden inside the cabinet, so during normal use it looks like an ordinary acoustic piano.
• MIDI files are plentiful and FREE and may be downloaded instantly. You will never be  out of music with this huge selection!
